This single-seat attack MB.326 was intended for Zaire in the mid-1970s but not completed due to financial difficulty and order cancellation. Instead it remained in long-term covered storage until acquired by Volafenice at Reggio Emilia for finishing and preparation for flight, which occurred for the first time in 2019. It is painted to represent MM54391, an MB.326 of the RSV well-known as a demonstrator aircraft at airshows in the 1970s registered I-KMAK. That aircraft was eventually placed on external display at its Pratica di Mare base and contributed a number of parts to I-MBCK

The Vola Fenice or Volafenice association operates two airworthy MB.326s, I-RVEG and this single-seat MB.326K. Its hangar at Reggio Emilia isn't really a museum, but the dedicated people who were working on the aircraft here were very welcoming. Grazie mille!
