One of the more interesting arrivals on a hot afternoon at Yelahanka was this Albatros. The jet trainer belongs to Zephyr Aerospace, India's first private flight test service provider. The Albatros was part of the static display at Aero India 2023.

With its registration IN091 covered with white duct tape, this shiny L-39 was seen at the static display show of Aero India. The aircraft is used by the Indian Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) for various tests, adversary training and target towing in support of Indian Armed Forces. The Albatros is assigned a Indian Navy serial for ease of use without getting into civil certification hassles. This L-39 is former NX39MX which was cancelled from the US civil register in December 2020, and exported to India.
