Delivered to Braathens SAFE as LN-SUS in 1968. To Transwede Airways as SE-DKG in 1989, Sultan Air as TC-JUP in 1991, Bouraq Indonesia Airlines as PK-IJA in 1992 then returned to the lessor as N408CE in 1994. To Americana de Aviacion as OB-1615 in 1995. Back to N408CE then to Sakhalin Airlines as RA-73005 in 1997. Back to the lessor as N408CE in 1998. Withdrawn from use at Miami in 1999 and later scrapped.

LN-SUS seen at Palma de Mallorca in September 1969, nine months after delivery, in the original Braathens SAFE livery used on the 737s. Later the red stripe was moved below the windows. The fleet did not receive names after Norwegian kings until 1972 when LN-SUS was christened Haakon V, but inadvertently painted as Haakon IV. This was later updated/corrected to Haakon IV Haakonsson.

In the Seventies you could ask and get access to the earth mound by the hangars which put you on a level with aircraft as they flared out over the Eastern threshold of Gatwick's runway
