After some years the 61 Brigata Aerea's aircraft started being painted with less orange bands and with low viz individual codes. at this time the aircraft was equipped for transfer with the new 500 litres tip tanks.

Livery still belonging to the preceding history of the unit (it was SVBIA - Scuola Volo Basico Iniziale Aviogetti) and aircraft configuration for transfer with original 320 litres elliptical tip tanks.

MM54549 was delivered to the Italian AF in the mid 1980s. Somewhere between 2001 and 2008 it was converted to MB-339A MLU. On the fin it carries the 61 Stormo badge and on the fuselage a special badge commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Italian Air Force.
