MM7321 returns from a mission to the Benbecula range just after a heavy rain shower (which produced a glorious rainbow). The aircraft used to fly with 37 Stormo, its old code 37-12 still visible under the new code and although the black chequers on the rudder have been removed, they remain clearly visible.

The chequered rudder was also sometimes worn by 18 Gruppo's F-104s and F-16s, green and white when in colour. Its badge of three arrows is on the nose, and 37 Stormo's stork on the fin.
