Wings of Hope can trace it's origins back to1959 when the Catholic missionary group Medical Missionaries of Mary brought in a Piper Super Cub to fly people and supplies around Kenya in their work. In 1965 United Missionary Air Training and Transport (UMATT) was formed with the delivery of their first all metal Cessna 206. Nonprofit Wings of Hope was officially incorporated on July 17, 1967. This 1966 U206B is part of the fleet that now services missionaries in Africa, South America, Alaska, New Guinea and Central America.
