The smallest aircraft that used the Air Force One call sign. One of several Aero Commander L-26B s purchased after US President Dwight Eisenhower had a heart attack and recovered at his Gettysburg, Pennsylvania farm. The L-26 was one of the few executive transports that could handle the farm's 2,200 ft grass runway. Recently restored, this only airworthy example is owned by the Commemorative Air Force.
