To Aero Virgin Islands in Nov 86 and withdrawn from use Dec 86! Reported to have been used as a restaurant but was wrecked by Hurricane Hugo in Sept 89.

Delivered new to TWA in June 1952, later serving Piedmont. Owned by Naples-PBA from November 1975 until July 1986. Here departing from MIA on an intra-Florida schedule.

TWA was the first owner of this Martin in 6.52, bought by Piedmont in 12.62 and by Southeast some ten years later. In fine form with the innovative rear airstairs lowered, this classic was near the end of her service with the Florida regional at the time of this shot. PBA went on to operate her from the end of 1975, then in late 1986 she found herself working down in the Caribbean until dbr by Hurricane Hugo on 17.9.89 at San Juan, PR. Last noted derelict in a corner there in 2003 and presumed subsequently broken up
