Bristow Bell 407 departs on another crew change in the Gulf of Mexico. In May 2019, Bristow Group sought Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection which affected mainly the US operations. In June 2020 Bristow stockholders approved a merger with ERA Helicopters. The Bristow US heliport operation was closed and N447AL was among surplus machines sold. It first went to Eagle Copters registered C-GUIH October 2020 - April 2021 before returning to the USA for Copter Lease LLC from April 2021. Last operated by A&P Helicopters as N409AP the aircraft is up for sale at the time of uploading.
