Built on an order for Rio Airways, but not taken up, this Twin Otter went to Air Alps instead as F-GBDA February 16, 1978. Evergreen Helicopters took delivery of it January 28, 1980 and was ferried via Shannon Ireland / Reykjavik , Iceland. Sold to Air Inuit, it returned to Canada as C-GBJE in 1985. While landing at Kangiqsujuaq Airport in northern Quebec during gusty winds, the pilot lost control and struck a ditch October 26, 1989. No injuries, but the aircraft was substantially damaged. Later moved to Springbank, AB, it was broken down for parts.
