Operating with Northern Pioneer Helicopters of Big Lake, AK. Built in 1960. Taken on charge new by the US Army as 60-3568. Became N70NW in 1993. While with Northwest Helicopters, substantially damaged on 24 September 1993, striking trees while attempting an autorotation after engine failure at Detroit Lake, OR. Joined Northern Pioneer Helicopters in 2001. Substantially damaged at Tok Junction Airport, AK on 8 August 2013, striking trees while making an emergency landing after loss of directional control.
