Never flew again; stored and eventually scrapped at Luqa in January 2018.

This 720 was originally delivered to Western as N93145 in July 1962. From August 1978 it became the personal plaything of Sheikh Adham (as HZ-NAA & HZ-KA1) before joining Comtran International as N2143J in December 1989. The plane joined JAR Aircraft Services in November 1991 and was registered N720JR and is pictured taxying out to rw04L for departure. JAR later opertaed the plane on behalf of the Congoese, Malian and Lebanese Governments. However, the plane was dogged by airwothiness and overhaul concerns and the plane was parked/grounded at Malta (MLA) in March 2004 and later scrapped.

Delivered to Western Airlines in July 1962 as N93145. To Sheikh K. Adham in August 1978. Registered to Quadriga as HZ-NAA. Registered to the Sheikh again in June 1980 as HZ-KA1. To Comtran International in December 1989 as N2143J. To JAR Aircraft Services in November 1991 as N720JR. To the Republic of Congo in November 1998 before finally registered to JR Aviation in 1999. A rich history for the aircraft and it seemed airworthy in October 2003. Landed at Malta in March 2004, where it was parked since. Eventually the aircraft was scrapped there in January 2018.
