The Experimental Aircraft Association acquired this rare North American P-64 in 1964. Flown for years by EAA President Paul Poberezny at EAA events, the aircraft was retired to the EAA Museum in 1988. The engine was run again in 2013 and it returned to flying in 2016 after further refurbishment.

Built for supply to Siam Air Force but impounded by USAAC before shipment in 1941 as 41-19085 and used as an advanced trainer with P-68 designation. Post-war flew as NX37498, XB-KUU and N68822 before acquisition by EAA as N840. Later restored to flying condition.
