Sadly, on 13 May, 2019 this Otter was in a mid air collision with DHC-2 Beaver N952DB near George Inlet, approx 7 miles from Ketchikan. A total of 6 lives were lost in this accident. Some survivors were rescued from the ocean by nearby boats.
