K25 slide scan. Built 1954 as KC-97G 52-918 for USAF, later redesignated KC-97L, retired to MASDC 1976. Hawkins and Powers N97HP 1981, stored Greybull from around 1991. Had been reconfigured to B.377 standard operating under FAR 125, however C-97G according to FAA official register. Reregistered N97HB 2000 but not applied. Now owned by Museum of Flight and Aerial Firefighting.

This is N97HP, operated by Hawkins and Powers Aviation as a freighter from 1982 till 1989. Photographed after retirement to open storage at the Greybull base of H&P where it remained for many years. (Alternate serial still visible on tail.)

With the Hawkins & Powers logo on the lower forward fuselage. This C-97 was registered as N97HP to Hawkins & Powers in 1981 and reregistered to N97HB almost a year after I shot this photo, in Apr 2007. But it was still painted as N97HP by late 2008 and the new registration may never have been applied.
