The former CSA Ilyushin 18 is still present on highway A10 rest area, but nowadays surrounded by more and more obstacles.

This Il-18 was delivered to CSA in June 1967 and flew with the airline until retirement in November 1984 and had amassed a total time of 23,578 hours and 20,829 cycles. It is now preserved as a small cafe in a lay-by near Bakov nad Jizerou wearing this fictional Buggyra Air colour schene. Buggyra is a Czech motor racing stable that evolved out of the Czechoslovak Tatra and Škoda legacy.

This Il-18 has now lost its 'Air Kofola' scheme, and this whole Service Stop area on the motorway is being redeveloped and upgraded. Alas, I fear, the plane will be much more difficult to photograph afterwards as there will be a fence around it and the foreground is being prepared for something.

Kofola is a Czech cola/root-beer soft drink available everywhere in the country, so presumable the company paid for the repaint as a form of free advertising to all the cars passing by.

When I arrived here the Moto-Auto titles had been removed (but still vaguely visible) and it appeared to be unused. The aircraft was still here by 2017.
