This aircraft was formerly used by the Red Bull Flying Bulls aerobatic team and still retains the basic silver and blue scheme it wore during that time. Like many of the aircraft in the Letecké Muzeum Metoděje Vlacha collection, this one is a flyer and makes appearances at airshows from time to time.

Some remarkably skillful flying got this aircraft of the Red Bulls aerobatic team back down safely after a collision with a team member during the display session at Aero India 2015.

The Czech Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team traces its history back to 1960 when the Box Tréner team was formed at Chrudim with Zlin Z-26 aircraft. It was re-established with Z-50s in 1989 and became a Red Bull team in 2001. Jiří Saller, whose mount is seen here, joined in 1990 and left in 2015. He died of illness two years later, 64 years old.
