Intermediate colours mixing new tail with old fuselage livery

slide scan from the NK collection. - This scheme with the white fuselage top represents the mid colours which were applied to KLM DC-8s. KLM sold the airframe to African Safari in 1982, and finally, the aircraft flew freight for Airborne Express. It was seen wfu at Wilmington OH in 2002.

This aircraft was in full Philippine Airlines livery but with KLM stickers on the fuselage. It was leased by Philippine from KLM and I wonder if it was leased back.
