Originally delivered to Air France in November of 1971, this Fokker F27 is now painted up and wearing the reg of the first F27 (PH-NIV) and preserved as a gate guard at the Fokker Logistics Park at Amsterdam Schiphol.

Showing her interior lighting on a nice Autumn evening. Final landing was at Schiphol on 24 November 2011, coming from Kemble/Cotswold Airport as N19XE with an escort of the Fokker Four upon arrival. All things useful were stripped out within a few months and the white livery with sponsor logos sprayed over later.

Painted as the Fokker F27 prototype PH-NIV (c/n 10101), but it is in fact ex N19XE / HA-FAD. Preserved by the Coöperatieve Vereniging (= Cooperative Society) Anthony Fokker Park and placed on display here (near the former Fokker factory on the east side of Schiphol Airport) on 12 Jul 2012. Initially parked on the grass, it was mounted on the poles on 12 Mar 2013.

Fake registration markings. Was N19XE until August 2011.

This Friendship was eventually put on poles in the pond at the Anthony Fokker Business Park at the former Fokker factory site. It is painted as the prototype (c/n 10101) although this is rather awkward as it's a stretched F.27-500, formerly N19XE.
