In the Aviodrome

The second prototype Friendship which first flew on 29 January 1957. Here displayed at the 1957 Paris Air Salon. Now preserved at Lelystad.

Nicely preserved at the Aviodrome in her original demonstrator colours, the second prototype Fokker Friendship had a long career with LTU, IFG and WDL as D-BAKI before acquisition for preservation in 1995. Actually the third F27 built, as the second was a static test airframe; parts of prototype F27 PH-NIV's fuselage are stored behind one of the hangars at Lelystad
