This Vampire served with the RAF from 1953 to 1964 as a T.11 trainer. In 1969 it was sold by Hawker-Siddeley to Switzerland as a T.55, U-1238. In 1991 it was retired from Swiss service and acquired by Team Vampire Sweden AB.
