The HC-47A was the 1962 redesignation of the SC-47A search & rescue conversion. The larger nose housed a first generation radar and electronics. TA-07 was acquired from USAF stocks in July 1966. It was reserialled to TC-37 in 1974, and by 2006 it was under restoration at Área Material Río IV in Río Cuarto, Córdoba.
