Purchased new by Lloyd Aviation as VH-LAR in 1985, this aircraft was sold to Ansett Transport Industires in July 1985 and re-registered as VH-FKO for operations with East West Airlines. It only operated in these non standard colors until December 1990 when it was transferred to Ansett Express.

Just before sunrise, departing on runway 23. Started as D-AFKJ 11/04/1990 with DLT, then EC-GDD 07/07/1995 with Air Nostrum, then D-AFKJ 01/01/2001 with Lufthansa Cityline, then OO-VLV 22/03/2002 with VLM, Named Island of Jersey, then to CityJet 11/01/2010, same reg, then VH-FKO 16/08/2012 with Alliance Airlines - information sourced from Airfleets.net.

Originally built for Air Zimbabwe but not taken up, first registered and flown as PH-EXZ. it was finally sold to Lloyd Aviation and entered the Australian register as VH-LAR on June the 12th 1985. It was then sold to East West Airlines and reregistered as VH-FKO on the 13th July 1990 on the 14th December 1990 it was transferred to Ansett Express.
