VH-PUT before its conversion to a tail dragger

Arriving at the Jamestown Fly-In & Air Spectacular 2009. Converted from a Piper PA-22-160 Tri-Pacer with nosewheel to a PA-20 Pacer with tailwheel in the 1980s, and now painted with "PA-20" on the fin.

Originally a PA-22-160 Tri-Pacer, now converted to PA-20 tailwheel configuration.

This Piper was built in 1959 and registered in the UK as G-APUT. It entered the Australian register as VH-PUT on 24.11.86 and was converted from original Piper PA-22-160 Tri-Pacer with a nosewheel to PA-20 Pacer configuration with a tailwheel.
