After only six years in Australia cancelled as withdrawn from use in 1976. Such brief appearances often signified the aircraft had been damaged and initially assessed as repairable. When the decision was taken not to carry out repairs, it became withdrawn from use.

The most amazing history for any aircraft, fully restored to captain Scott's configuration of 1931. Registerd in Oz as VH-UQH in 1931 and damaged by a cyclone in WA in 1953. Discovered as a barn wreck in WA before a 40 year restoration to its original registration completed in 2019. Based locally at Caboolture.

Struck off the register in 1953 after being damaged in a cyclone at Winning Pool Station, Western Australia, on March 22 that year. Remains rediscovered in 1981. Returned to the register in 1996, took a further 23 years to be fully restored. Markings are those it wore in April 1931 when C.W.A Scott broke the UK-Australia solo record.
