Afternoon departure - Qantas flight QF1956 to Alice Springs departing off Rw 05. A decal between the forward passenger door and first window states 'Operated on behalf of Qantaslink' but interesting to note though that as at 1 June 2021, flights were QF and not Qlink.

Alliance flew this aircraft into Adelaide where oddly, reportedly, it was to be parked until commencement of service in August 2021. On May 7 it was at the terminal as a background for a TV news story to announce that Qantas will be commencing more services to smaller towns and cities later in the year using 5 such aircraft. Originally it was believed Alliance would fly the services but the news story stated they would be 're-badged in Qantas colours'.

Delivered in January 1937, VH-UYZ was cancelled from the register when its certificate of airworthiness was not renewed in 1940. The Aeronca 100 was built in Britain, a licensed version of the Aeronca C.3. Three of the first five Aeronca 100s came to Australia but that was it and no more followed. All three were gone by 1949.
