Basic all white anti-nuclear flash livery, on museum display. Scrapped in 1987

Think I've got the date of the show correct, didn't log it at the time.

Built as a B.1 in 1956 and later converted to B.1A for service with 230 OCU. Retired for ground instruction duties at Cosford as 7896M in 1966 and later transferred to the Cosford Museum but regrettably scrapped in 1986.

First flying on 07th March 1957, this was the 12th production Vulcan and last flew 19.11.65 when it was delivered to No.2 SoTT, Cosford. Became 7896M; to Cosford Aerospace Museum but controversially scrapped 1986 - the last intact B.1. But - not the last time a significant airframe would perish there when better could be expected
