A wonderful view of this Comet when it was less than a year old, having been delivered to the RAF in February 1962. In 1975, with the other RAF Comet C.4s, it was sold to Dan-Air, and flew for a further five years as G-BDIV. Photographer not known.

Operated by 216 Squadron RAF. Became G-BDIV on 1 September 1975 with Dan-Air, and was in service until 12 November 1979. It was apparently the last Comet to be scrapped at Lasham, in 1985. The registration was cancelled on 5 March 1987 as permanently withdrawn from use.
