Built as NC25630 for United Airlines in 1940. To the USAAF as 42-53504 then to the RAF as AX756 and BOAC as G-AGCN in 1941. To the Spanish Air Force in 1950 then to N9933F in 1954. To ZK-BVE in 1958 and converted for agricultural work. To the Museum of Transport and Technology - MOTAT in 1970.

Built for United Airlines in 08.40 as NC25630. Impressed by USAAF in 1941 as C-56D 42-53504. To RAF in Africa as AX756 and to BOAC as G-AGCN. Civilianised in 03.54 as N9933F. Sold to Fieldair as ZK-BVE in 03.58 as a sprayer. Retired in 12.69 after an accident and donated to MOTAT.

Has an amazing history: built as NC25630 for United Airlines; impressed by the USAAF as 42-53504; allocated to the RAF as AX756 in September 1941; loaned to BOAC as G-AGCN 'Lake Victoria'; later served with the Spanish Air Force; returned to the USA as N9933F; purchased by Fieldair (NZ) in 1958 and used for agricultural work. Now under restoration at the Museum of Transport and Technology, Auckland.
