Delivered to Eastern as NC21729 in 1939. N21729 after 1948. To other operators from 1952. To C-GDAK in 1982. Marked as KN456 on this side and KN563 on the other side.

The aircraft was also known by the military as the "Manitoba Flyer". For the retirement ceremonies and a preceding cross-country tour, the aircraft was repainted in the colours it wore in Burma while serving with RAF 435 and 436 Squadrons.

Wears WW2 South East Asia style markings and Canucks Unlimited titles as adopted during its service in Burma as RAF FZ658 in 1944/45. Later RCAF 992 and 12963. Retired in 1989 and preserved.

This original WWII veteran served with 435 & 436 Squadrons in India from 1944-46 being used to transport supplies and troops to the British Army in Burma. Subsequently, it served in various squadrons in Canada until its retirement in 1989. It is now on display at the National Air Force Museum of Canada in this Canucks Unlimited scheme to commemorate its Burmese WWII history.
