TOC 17 December 1943 as B-25D 43-3634. Flew eight combat missions while assigned to the 12th Air Force in Italy during April - May 1944. Flown back to the U.S., arriving 26 May 1944. Transferred to the Royal Air Force as KL148, then assigned to the Royal Canadian Air Force for use in multi engine flight training. Retired from RCAF June 1962. Owned by Mr. G. Lamont of Detroit, MI. when slide was taken. Currently owned by Yankee Air Museum, where it is airworthy and still registered N3774.

Assigned to the 489th Bomb Squadron and flew its first combat mission the day it arrived! 23 Apr to 4 May '44: Flew 7 more bombing missions. 26 May '44: Arrived Homestead, FL. 3 Oct '44: TOS RAF as Mitchell II, KL148. 7/45: TOS RCAF as KL148. 6/62: Lawrence Hicks Ltd, Saint Thomas, ON, with c/r CF-NWV. 7/68: Glenn Lamond of Detroit with c/r NX3774. 1987: Yankee Air Force, Detroit, MI. 2000 to 2003: Restored with the greenhouse nose. One of only three surviving B-25s which flew combat during WWII.
