This airframe was built by Beech in 1942 as AT-11 41-9567 and re-manufactured by them as C-45G Expeditor 51-11712 in 1953. It was civilianised in 1961 as N8182H, and over the years has carried N1185, YV-T-THJ, N1185(again) and lastly since 1989 N447DM; although struck-off in 2021 it was reinstated in June 2024 and is still current on the USCAR. In the mid-1960s it was converted as a tri-gear and received Conrad 9800 modifications including the one-piece windshield which gives it a somewhat unfamiliar look. Lastly the FAA web site shows the engine type as "Turbo-prop"!

Re-manufactured in by Beech from AT-11 Kansan 42-37152 to become C-45H 52-10701 in 1954. To N9823Z from 1961 to 1965 and modified by Pac Aero to Tri Gear configuration in 1962. Flown by Sierra Pacific Airlines from 1965 until 1968 and re-registered N256RA in 1969. Subsequently passed through several owners before being impounded in Colombia circa 1988 and later allocated the military serial FAC5579. Displayed for many years at various locations around Madrid Air Force Base but by 2019 was dumped on the north side of the base. ln the storage area of the FAC museum in Parque Jaime Duque in Bogota by Mar 2024.

Remanufactured by Beech from C-45F 44-86934 c/n 8193 to C-45H 52-10921 for the USAF in 1954. To N9881Z in 1961 and converted to a Trigear, Had become a ground trainer by 2004. Cancelled from the register in 2007.

Remanufactured from T-11 41-27405 c/n 1250 for the USAF as TC-45G 51-11572 in 1952. To N136L in 1961. Converted to a Tri-gear. Withdrawn from use at Sebastian, FL by 2003. Cancelled from the register in 2014.

This twin Beech has been here in Guatemala for years. It is parked in the bush outside the airport, near the new mall along the Santa Elena - Tikal Road.

Registration cancelled 2013. It had crashed at New Hudson, Michigan, in 1995.

This aircraft was built in 1952 and has been a resident at Opa-locka since at least 2006 so its future prospects do not look good. (Canon 40D 90mm)

Opa-locka is a veritable treasure trove of beautiful old aeoplanes, even if some could do with some TLC!
