Operated for Ministry Health Care until the registration was cancelled in 2010, the helicopter is pictured near the airport's Kern County Fire Station, most likely for training.

This aircraft was cancelled from the US register in December 2014 and exported to Australia where it became VH-FUB, but it was withdrawn from use and the registration cancelled on 30th August 2017.

Vancouver Island Helicopters (VIH) won the first air ambulance helicopter contracts on the BC coast initially with a Bell 212 based at Seal Cove in Prince Rupert and one and then two Bell 222UTs based on the south coast at Vancouver International Airport. This aircraft (C-GVIU) was imported from Japan (JA9627) in Aug. 1992 and later exported to the US (N622F) in Oct 1998 and later exported to South Africa where it was broken up for parts, according to Rotorspot. Helijet later won the BC Ambulance contract and has flown Sikorsky S-76As and S-76Cs from bases at Seal Cove and YVR.
