This relatively early Wirraway had the real RAAF serial A20-81 and served with 5 SFTS. Retired in May 1957, it was sold for scrap. Rescued by Pearce Dunn and kept at his museum at Mildura 1975-80. Restored at Essendon 87/89 and Caboolture 92/95.

Actually ex A16-81, which served as a trainer in RAAF service. Retired in 1957. VH-WWY has been painted to represent A16-176 which saw combat in Papua New Guinea during World War II.

CAC Wirrawy VH-WWY, is painted as A20-176 and is really A20-81.

Built for the RAAF during the war, this was one of the Wirraways retained for post-war use. It suffered an accident on 11 April 1958 and was written off. The remains have been undergoing a long-term rebuild to fly, being registered on 24 November 2003.
