Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB in 1970. To the Southwest Aerospace Museum in 1981, the Lone Star Flight Museum, Galveston, TX in 1992 and then to Little Rock AFB Heritage Park, AR in 2012.

Rainy day photo. 1957: TOS USAF. 12 Mar 57: Carried by a B-36 to Wright-Patterson AFB, OH; assigned for static testing. 12 Aug 57: First flight. 9/57: 6592nd Test Squadron, Carswell AFB, TX. 1958: Converted to first RB-58A and tested recon pod. 1962: Loaned to NASA for sonic boom testing. Ca.1963: Converted to TB-58A; 305th Bomb Wing, Bunker Hill AFB, IN. 1/69: Suffered substantial damage due to a cockpit fire. Repaired only for display as a gate guard. 1987: Moved to the new Grissom AFB museum collection.

Many US bases have impressive gate guard parks, many of those are high quality and not inferior for official air force museums! One of these is the aircraft park at Grissom (IN).

Built as a YB-58A and later converted to TB-58A trainer status.

A very sad looking Hustler from the initial production batch. Remarkably, it escaped MASDC and has featured in several museums from 1982 to the present day - and looks splendid!

This is the oldest B-58 survivor of the 116 examples produced and is now part of the Grissom Air Museum.
