The superb Indian Naval Aviation Museum in Dabolim, Goa, has a very interesting collection of aircraft. This Kamov Ka-25PL with serial IN573 was acquired in 1980. Not many countries purchased these nimble helicopters, which have been replaced by the larger Kamov Ka-28 in service with the Indian Navy.

The Aviation Technical Museum first exhibits were aircraft which required maintenance and had been sent to Luhansk Aircraft Repair Plant. Some aircraft remained there, and subsequently were written from use and preserved for display in the museum. The former user of this Ka-25 is the Soviet Naval Aviation, as can be seen from the navy's ensign.
