Between November 1965 and April 1971 this autogyro was registered 4R-ACK. On 28th September 1975 it set a World non-stop straight line distance record for an autogyro by flying 874.3Km between Lydd and Wick. At the time this also resulted in an endurance record of 6 hours 25 minutes. Ken Wallis was the pilot.

This aircraft was designed by Wing Commander Kenneth Horatio Wallis who has designed and built many autogyros which have at different times held every World record for autogyros and gyroplanes.
