The Guayaquil Air Show 2004 provided the opportunity to get very close to the runway and enjoy the sound of HC-BHM taking off right in front of the crowd.

Former Tame HC-BHM which was was forced to retire in Guayaquil after a fissure was discovered on the landing gear in late 2008. It was stored in Guayaquil until November 2015 when it was dismantled and taken to "Rey Park" aquatic park in Recinto Tres Postes, Guayas province. This is a very bizarre and unusual waterpark that wishes to resemble Disneyland. Once there it is used as a ghost house: you enter via the ventral door and exit through the front right door. This is one of three aircraft kept inside this park.

Tame's former HC-BHM was forced to retire in late 2008 after a fissure in the main gear was discovered. All the good parts were taken away to serve for remaining Tame and Air Force 727s, an only this was left in Guayaquil. A few months after this photo was taken, the plane was purchased to be used as a haunted house at an aquatic / amusement park in Tres Postes, 40 minutes away from Guayaquil.

Unfortunately this plane was retired from service in late 2008 after a fissure in the landing gear was discovered after landing in Guayaquil. As that couldn't be repaired in Guayaquil and the plane was declared "Unsafe" to be flown to Latacunga, it was forced to retire. For many years it was stored in Guayaquil until it was purchased by someone who stored it in an aquatic / amusement park 40 minutes away from Guayaquil.

In late 2008 / early 2009 a fissure was discovered in Tame Línea Aérea del Ecuador 727 HC-BHM's nose gear structure after landing in Guayaquil. It was declared "unsafe to fly" by the authorities. As Tame was unable to repair that problem in Guayaquil and was unable to fly the plane to Latacunga to get it fixed, it was withdrawn from use. Most of its parts were removed to be used for Tame's other 727s. Plane was abandoned at the Simón Bolivar Air Force Base. In late 2015 it was purchased and was moved to an amusement named "Rey Park" park outside Pajonal, Guayas province.
