Dutch 'Glenn Martins' over Malaya with, interestingly, one of only a few RAAF Wirraways sent there. The bombers are Martin 166, or 139 WH3, models with a single long 'glass house' canopy. M-556 was captured by the Japanese at Singapore in February 1942. On the right is M-551.

Spectacular find in a Dutch colonial archive - a stereo colour slide taken at Andir, Java before the war. The NEI 'Glenn Martin' bombers were painted in the standard USAAC colour scheme until 1940. M-536, a WH-2 model, is in the background. Photo from: Wereldmuseum
