Seen outside the Dickie Fritz Shellhole in Edenvale in the East Rand just outside Johannesburg, this Ventura was delivered to the US Navy as 34759 and then given the RAF serial FP607. It never served with the RAF, but was transferred directly to the SAAF where it served in various roles including as an instructional airframe. Put on display during the 1980s at the Memorable Order of Tin Hats (MOTH) Dickie Fritz Shellhole, so named after two friends Dickie Dashwood and Fritz von Linsingen who were killed in the Battle of Bardia in the North African Campaign of World War 2. Built as PV-1 Bu34759 for the US Navy. Allocated FP607 for the RAF but diverted to South Africa as 6432. Initially flown by 23 Squadron (Coastal Command) and converted for transport use by 28 Squadron in 1946. Used by the SAA Technical School at Jan Smuts as TS305 following withdrawal in 1959 and moved to this location in 1985.

Seen on display at Dickie Fritz Moth Complex and Shellhole in Edenvale, Johannesburg. It's been here since at least the mid 1990s, and was still there by October 2021.

Fort Klapperkop is one of four forts built by the South African Republic before the outbreak of the second Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902). It was declared a military museum in 1979. Several SAAF aircraft were on display at the fort.

In the markings of the South African Airways Training School at Jan Smuts/Johannesburg International Airport where it was used by apprentices from 1959 until moving to Swartkop in November 1988. This Ventura was initially allocated Bu No. 49474 and RAF serial JT867 before transferred to the SAAF. It was later converted to a transport version. It is now on display at the SAAF Museum at Swartkop with its SAAF serial 6498.

This Ventura spent many years in the Alberta Aviation Museum in Edmonton undergoing a very slow restoration. Space was needed, so it was moved to Red Deer and it was seen parked beside the Buffalo hangar. Its fate is unknown, but hopefully it will be restored.

Delivered to the U.S. Navy as BuAer 33315. Served the Royal Canadian A.F. as 2195. Recovered after a crash and now undergoing a painstaking restoration at Edmonton.
