Serial conflict with 69-0261. Built as an F-4E. Converted to an F-4G. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1991. Left in 1992 and converted to a QF-4G target drone. Destroyed by a missile in 2001.

90th TFS, 3rd TFW with eight F-4Es were deployed from Clarke AB, Philippines to RAAF Base Pearce October 1978-November 10978. While they were here they carried out dissimilar Air Combat Exercises with A-4Gs from 805 NAS. The aircraft carried a variety of underwing ECM depending on the sortie flown. We were asked not to "zap" the ECM gear, the external tank surface was the popular choice for the "zaps" also just behind the intake lips. This F-4E was converted to a "G", QF-4G drone, and expended in missile test 4th June 2002.

This F-4E was later converted to F-4G.
