Delivered to SAS as LN-LML in 1952. Leased to Thai International as HS-TGB in 1960 and returned to SAS as SE-XBO in 1963. To Icelandair as TF-FIP in 1964 then to Delta Air Transport as OO-RVG in 1972. Reregistered as OO-VGR then to Zantop International as N3549H and converted to a DC-6BF in 1973. To Conifair as C-GBYH in 1990 and fitted with spray bars then to Northern Air Cargo as N6204U in 2002. Used for parts at Palmer, AK and scrapped around 2005.

Ex-TF-FIP, registered 18th April 1972, re-registered in August 1973 as OO-VGR but then sold to Zantop the following month as N3549H. Subsequently converted to DC-6B(F) as N3549H, became C-GBYH and finally N6204U with Northern Air Cargo. WFU Palmer, AK and cancelled December 2005. Taken through the glass of the viewing area, hence the reflections.

Simply by asking I was allowed unescorted access to the ramp and aircraft, a situation that seems inconceivable today. This magnificent line up contains Five DC-6, three C-46 and creeping in on the right, one Lockheed Electra, and all were active freighters.
