A first-generation-Citation 500, built in 1974, parked on the CFE apron at Mexico City. - The small bizjet was last operated in Canada as C-GTNG. On 13/OCT/16 it crashed into mountains after departure from Kelowna in night IMC conditions; spatial disorientation of the single pilot was suspected as the possible reason for the accident.

This 1974 model Citation has been modified with wing extensions. Once registered as N75GM and now based in Calgary Alberta. In October 2016 the aircraft crashed and was destroyed shortly after departing Kelowna BC. All four on board perished.
