I photographed C-FBQT (ex US Navy 91171) in 2002 when it was operated by Ag Air in the crop spraying role. Soon it would be retired and it sat on the Dawson Creek prairie for many years. The last time I saw it, the Avenger was in terrible shape, having been severely damaged in a hail storm. The Avenger has recently been acquired by the Pacific Air Museum at Honolulu on Ford Island. It is being restored as a US Navy torpedo bomber and it will be another airworthy example in their fine collection.
