One of thirty-four Chipmunks bought by the Canadian Department of National Defence for civil training schools across Canada to provide refresher training for RCAF Reserve pilots. To the USA via the Winnipeg Flying Club in 1967, it was modified to a Super Chipmunk for airshow performances. Art Scholl acquired the aircraft in 1977 and it was donated to the EAA Museum by the pilot's widow after his death.

Art Scholl's Canadian-built Chipmunk was highly modified for competition aerobatics. Now preserved at the EAA Museum, Oshkosh.
