Buttonville based Toronto Airways was a well established pilot training and charter business when it started regional scheduled service circa 1979. Several Beech 99 airliners were bought and operated as Torontair. This 1975 Beech 99 arrived from Rio Airways in March 1981. Torontair assets were purchased by Austin Airways in June 1986 who were themselves merged into Air Ontario in August 1987. The aircraft moved on to Bearskin Airways in December 1988. It was sold and exported to the USA as N192WA in January 1999 for Piper East / Wiggens Airways.

Built in 1973 and first flew with Rio Airways as N16RA. Imported by Toronto airways in 1981 and here with Bearskin who had it 1988 to 1999. Current as N192WA with Wiggins Airways in 2021.
