Delivered new to Newmans/Ansett NZ as ZK-NEW 14th Dec 1984 and registered G-BNDC to Eurocity Express 6th March 1987. Shortly after the airline re-branded as London City Airways this aircraft went to Ar Greenland as OY-CTC 1st May 1988

With outer engines removed and pre-heating hose attached to #2. Showing much-larger-than-standard 'A Discovery Air Company' titles near the door, referring to its parent holding company. It had been 27 years since I saw this Dash on another continent.

Eurocity's first Dash-7, operating BMA's flight BD243 to East Midlands. The company was founded by British Midland specifically for operations from the brand new London City Airport, and was later renamed London City Airways. It ceased operations in 1990.

Emerging from a respray after acquisition from London City Airways, this Dash 7 returned to the UK in 2004 for repainting once again, this time in the overall red Air Greenland livery at Norwich. Operated with Air Tindi as C-GCPY from 2012, still in the basic red colours and suffered a major windscreen crack on departure from Yellowknife on 14.12.13, causing the whole screen to ice over. An almost blind but safe return landing was accomplished

Holding short of Rwy 02, note the inner props feathered to reduce cabin noise. Five weeks later this Dash went to Greenlandair as OY-CTC.

Sold in Britain as G-BNDC in 1987. Airline taken over by Ansett group
