This YS-11A was brought from Aruba by barge to Curacao, to find a new home near Mambo Beach as a home for gamers. A short-lived plan so it seems, as the aircraft was soon found derelict.

After seeing it arrive a few weeks before, I encountered this YS-11A again, near Mambo Beach Curacao. The owner told me he was planning to turn it into a gamer's home, although it seems the plans were eventually abandoned, as was the aircraft...

Delivered new to ANA 25 December 1969. To Trans Central Airlines in April 1983 as N904TC. To Air Aruba in August 1988 as P4-YSA. Withdrawn from use in 1990-91.
