The RAAF took on charge a single Viking on loan from the RAF during nuclear weapons testing. Allocated the serial A82-1 but it was not applied to the aircraft. First flew 19 August 1947 as VL231 and transferred for service in Woomera, Australia, 31 March 1948. To RAAF as A82-1 but reverted to VL231. Registered G-AOCH 13 May 1955, to Germany as D-AMOR for LTU Feb.1957, later D-BABY March 1958. Restored to Air Ferry as G-AOCH 7 October 1963, to Invicta Airways 14 April 1966. Scrapped at Manston with C.of A. expired 7 July 1968. Cancelled 3 February 1969 as Withdrawn from Use.
