The RAAF took on charge a single Viking on loan from the RAF during nuclear weapons testing. Allocated the serial A82-1 but it was not applied to the aircraft. First flight 9 October 1947 as VL233. To King's Flight 25 January 1947. Registered G-APOO on 6 August 1958 to Tradair, named 'Mercia' in 1960. Registered to Channel Airways 10 January 1963. Last flight was on 18 August 1964, following which it was Withdrawn from Use at Southend and scrapped there in 1965. Registration cancelled 7 March 1969 as Permanently Withdrawn From Use.

First flew 19 August 1947 as VL231 and transferred for service in Woomera, Australia, 31 March 1948. To RAAF as A82-1 but reverted to VL231. Registered G-AOCH 13 May 1955, to Germany as D-AMOR for LTU Feb.1957, later D-BABY March 1958. Restored to Air Ferry as G-AOCH 7 October 1963, to Invicta Airways 14 April 1966. Scrapped at Manston with C.of A. expired 7 July 1968. Cancelled 3 February 1969 as Withdrawn from Use.

Delivered new to the RAF in September 1947 as VL231 but diverted to Australia as A82-1. Reverted to VL231. Sold as G-AOCH in May 1955. Operated by Air Ferry from August 1963 until June 1966.
